Parque Nacional Canaima
The Canaima National Park, in Bolivar state, South-East of Venezuela, is an incredible vast and multiform environment of more than 30,000 square Km, bordering Brazil and Guyana, and including the watershed of the Caroni River (a big river of the Orinoco basin), an important water resource for the whole region. The park is particularly important because it contains, in a unique environment, geological, faunistic, floral, and hydrographic peculiarities. The inhabitants, the indigenous Pemón still proudly keep their traditions, despite the changes induced by the tourism industry.
